A significant supporter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has resigned as CEO of their Archewell business. Days before a controversial Netflix documentary is scheduled to broadcast, Mandana Dayani said she is resigning from her position as president.

In a statement, Archewell stressed that the couple will take on full leadership of the company and would now assume complete control of the business.

Less than 18 months have passed since Dayani took over management of the couple's media and humanitarian enterprise. TV experts have warned that the upcoming season would be highly upsetting to the royal family since Harry and Meghan are again expected to make shocking revelations regarding the firm.

The six-part series is co-produced by Archewell and Netflix and is anticipated to provoke a backlash from the royal family, who are already facing criticism for their role in the current racism controversy.
