Hot weather continues to trouble the United Kingdom. People have started calling the unseasonal hot spell the Indian summer, with temperatures hovering around a balmy 20⁰ C, which could peak at 21⁰ towards the end of this week.

An Unsettled turn

The Met Office has indicated that Britons may have to go through unseasonal warm days with mild nights this week. The average maximum temperatures are also expected to be higher than usual for late October due to unpredictable weather conditions. However, the UK has seen the warmer autumns, with 22⁰C+ temperatures on October 1, 2011, and November 1 2015. The weekend may bring relief with some showers and a drop in the maximum temperature.
