Andrew Tate, a four-time World kickboxing champion has been banned by social media giants like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok days after he was banned on Twitter.

The controversial internet influencer and self-described 'success coach' was earlier banned from Twitter permanently for his alleged misogynistic videos.

As per media reports, Meta has stated Andrew Tate was banned from their platforms for violating policies classified under “dangerous organisations and individuals.”


Andrew Tate became an overnight internet sensation after he was evicted from the reality show Big Brother after his videos of hitting a woman contestant emerged.

Following his rise to unparalleled internet fame, the former kickboxer has received consistent flak for his controversial views on feminism, patriarchy, misogyny, and sexism.

However, Tate continued to command a considerable social media presence to date, with videos featuring him garnering billions of views across platforms. Andrew Tate has 4.7 million followers on Instagram.

A TikTok spokesperson has confirmed that the platform has also banned Tate. The spokesperson iterated that misogyny was a dangerous ideology and that it won’t be tolerated on TikTok.

As reported, TikTok is also working on removing videos curated by other accounts that feature Tate propagating views that “violate guidelines” of the platform.

On the other hand, Tate has claimed that he was innocent. He also argued that internet sensationalism had made him appear as anti-women, which was not remotely true. Despite receiving severe criticism from advocacy groups, Tate had a huge presence on social media.

On TikTok alone, hashtags using Tate’s name amassed more than 12.7 billion views. Likewise, Tate had millions of followers on Instagram and Facebook and is believed to have a net worth of hundreds of millions.

Along with his brother, Tristan, Tate runs an online academy called Hustler’s University, which has thousands of paid members. Likewise, Tate also runs a private global network of highly influential individuals called 'War Room' that claims to solve global logistical, financial, and sociopolitical challenges faced anywhere in the world.
