After June Brown’s demise in real life, now her character Dot Branning in EastEnders dies
With the passing away of June Brown, Dot Branning, the EastEnders character she made a legend, has not been seen since. BBC has now informed viewers that in an episode dedicated to the late June Brown, Dot will also die.

Dot is no more
It is not easy for viewers to forget Dot Branning. Now, the scriptwriters have chosen Sophia Fowler (characterised by Natalie Cassidy), who was close to Dot in the series, to break the news of her (Dot) death. She gets the sad news over an interrupted telephone call and is devastated. Several familiar faces of EastEnders will be back at the square to pay their respect to Dot.The special episode will be a fitting tribute to June Brown more than Dot because, to most fans, the two were inseparable.
