American filmmaker-actor Olivia Wilde has won a case against her former husband, Jason Sudeikis, over the custody of their two children. The ex-couple has one daughter and one son together.

American filmmaker and actor Olivia Wilde has won the first case of the custody battle against her former husband, Jason Sudeikis. The ex-couple was engaged in a legal battle against each other over the custody of the two children they have together. The couple has one son, Otis, and one daughter, Daisy. While Otis is 8-year-old, Daisy is five.

As Per the documents seen by Page Six, a judge has declared that the children's home state in California dismissed the custody petition filed by Sudeikis against Olivia.

Sudeikis had filed a custody petition against Olivia in a family court in New York City in October 2021.


After they split, Sudeikis and Wilde want to live with the kids. Wilde intends to take the kids with her to Los Angeles. It is also guessed that Olivia ultimately wants to take the children to London, where the filmmaker's boyfriend, Harry Styles, lives. On the other hand, Sudeikis desires to live with the kids in Brooklyn. Interestingly, Harry Styles is a popular member of the now-disbanded boys' group "One Direction."

Wilde had filed a petition in the Superior Court of California, Los Angeles, requesting the New York court to dismiss the case filed by Sudeikis. According to The Daily Mail, the filmmaker and actor had told the court that Sudeikis was aggressively trying to threaten and embarrass her in public.

Earlier, Sudeikis had served the parental notice to Wilde during the CinemaCon 2022 event when she was on Stage. Wilde promoted her movie "Don't Worry Darling" when she was given the notice.

Wilde told the court that Sudeikis could have handed over the notice to her more discreetly, but he aggressively did that. Wilde and Sudeikis have been co-parenting their children between London, Los Angeles, and New York City since they split. The 38-year-old director and the 46-year-old Ted Lasso star broke up in 2020.
