The 18-year-old TV Star Amelie Eve Gibson is named Ruby Sunday and will travel along Ncuti Gatwa, who takes the mantle of the Doctor in 2023.

The Doctor's latest Companion is named Ruby Sunday, and they will embark on some new adventures next year. Millie was in total disbelief when she got the news, but she expressed that she was honoured to have been cast in the iconic role of the Doctor's Companion.
She felt the role was a gift to her as if her dreams had come true.
She also added that she would give her best to the role trying to fill in the shoes of the previous companions before her. She is excited to work with Ncuti Gatwa as the Doctor and is anxious to begin the work.
