A31 accident involving two lorries in Ringwood causes heavy traffic

A multiple-vehicle accident on November 1 forced drivers on the A31 in Hampshire to face heavy delays. The accident took place around 7:00 am in Ringwood. Drivers were left queued for five miles. As per Inrix, a traffic site, one lane was blocked due to the accident, and vehicles were queued for five miles, leading to "severe delays." According to Highways England, one of the two lanes was shut on the A31 westbound between M27 and A338 after the collision. The lane was closed throughout the morning. It stated that recovery agents were enroute to the site of the accident. Hampshire Constabulary noted that the police received the information about the collision on the A31 at 7:05 am.
