The largest film festival in the UK, now in its 66th year, is the London Film Festival. The top new releases, restored BFI archival films, screenplays, virtual reality activities, talks, debates and celebrations will be featured at this annual event. The festival's dates have been disclosed now. It will happen from October 5 to 16.
"Matilda the Musical" will be Opening and Closing Gala According to the reports, the opening and closing gala for the London Film Festival has been announced. The opening film for the London Film Festival is the very popular and demanding "Matilda the Musical." This film has also been chosen for the closing day.
About the London Film Festival London and other locations in the UK will come to life with 11 days and nights of galas, films, events, gatherings and movie theatre happenings as the country's premier film festival continues its post-pandemic comeback in style. It is one of the biggest film festivals in the world. The general public can get tickets easily and there will be continuous shows for audiences across the country.
On October 16, the festival will conclude with the European debut of Rian Johnson's latest whodunit, "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery."
Daniel Craig, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr., Janelle Monáe and Edward Norton will join Johnson in the continuation of his popular murder-thriller, "Knives Out," at the Royal Festival Hall.

Craig will make another appearance in the film as detective Benoit Blanc, who will visit an affluent region of Greece to look into a different murder investigation.
Johnson has previously rocked the LFF red carpet. The festival's 2019 American Express Gala included the European premiere of "Knives Out."
As per the reports, Johnson is all set to be back at the festival with his film "Glass Onion", and he feels privileged to be a part of the festival's closing. To him, it feels like going back home, as a true whodunnit genuinely belongs in London!

There will be concurrent showings of this fantastic film at various theatres throughout the UK, so you won't need festival tickets to see it that night.
