24-year-old Brighton midfielder Enock Mwepu forced to retire with serious heart condition

Enock Mwepu, a Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder, has been compelled to retire at the age of 24 due to an inherited heart condition. Mwepu has been diagnosed with a heart condition that could worsen over time if not treated, putting him at risk of a possibly fatal cardiac event.

Mwepu wrote an emotional statement on Twitter about achieving his dream of playing in the Premier League at the highest level. He also mentions his dream coming to an end and announces his retirement due to medical advice. Despite his retirement, he will always be associated with sports.
