23-year-old man stabbed to death in Birmingham nightclub, police investigation underway

A murder inquiry has been initiated after a 23-year-old man was brutally stabbed at a club in Birmingham. On December 26, the man suffered fatal injuries at ‘The Crane’ dance floor on Adderley Street in Digbeth. About 30 minutes later, despite efforts to resuscitate him, he was declared dead, according to West Midlands Police.

The incident happened during a Boxing Day party where well-known techno DJ Marco Carola was playing because they believe the victim was approached by a group before being stabbed.

There were hundreds of people in the nightclub at that time. The club is currently closed because of the investigation underway and the CCTV examination. The whole area will be under strict supervision by neighbourhood police to provide reassurance to other residents.
