A Russian boy, who has been conscripted to fight in the ongoing war against Ukraine, has expressed his desperation to escape to the United Kingdom. The 22-year-old boy Vadim hails from Kaliningrad in Russia. Reportedly, he was conscripted several days ago and was ordered to report to the local enlistment office on October 4.
Vadim told The Sun that he would do whatever he could to escape being sent to the war in Ukraine. Vadim said he did not want to become "cannon fodder" and wanted to go to the United Kingdom. One of Vadim's friends, Eduard, who was already conscripted for the war, has already lost his life, and the Kaliningrad boy fears the same fate.
Vadim stated that his friend Eduard (21) was killed by a mine two weeks after he was sent to the war zone. Vadim said he was even willing to be admitted to a psychiatric hospital to avoid being sent to Ukraine. He added that he would not be killing Ukrainians.
