200 corpses found rotting at hospital roof in Pakistan's Multan, see reports

A mortuary in Multan, Pakistan dumped the dead bodies, after being used by medical students for educational purposes, reported Geo News. Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister, Tariq Zaman Gujjar said a whistleblower tipped him off about the incident.

At least 200 corpses were found in a rotting state on the roof of Nishtar Hospital's mortuary in Multan, Pakistan. According to reports, after the information about the corpses spread, the Pakistan government took action to investigate the whole incident.

Sources claim that a room is built on the roof of the mortuary where dozens of bodies are decaying. However, the Pakistani government has not given any official statement about the number of bodies.

Pakistan Punjab CM’s Advisor Tariq Zaman Gujjar got the tip-off about the bodies from a whistleblower.
• When Gujjar reached the mortuary, the staff refused to open the gates but finally opened when Gujjar warned them of filing an FIR against them if they won't let him in.
• Tariq found around 200 bare bodies of men and women.
• Upon enquiring about the scenario, doctors said that the medical students used those bodies for educational purposes.
• On the roof, he spotted 35 bodies being eaten by the worms and vultures.
Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi prepared a report with the Punjab healthcare and medical education secretary and formed a six-member committee to investigate the matter.
