UAE weather update: Cloudy skies, possible rain and dust in eastern regions on June 29

According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), residents in the UAE can expect partly cloudy weather on Saturday, June 29, with low clouds likely to form over the east coast.

The forecast also notes that humidity levels will rise by night and into Monday morning, especially in coastal areas. Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening. They will blow from the northwest to southwest at speeds ranging between 10 to 20 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h at times.

Sea conditions will remain calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.


However, between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Saturday, certain eastern parts of the country may experience cumulus cloud formation, with a chance of rainfall and strong winds.

Wind speeds in these areas may reach 40 km/h, raising dust and reducing visibility.
