Dubai International Airport said that August 26 and 27 are expected to be the busiest days of this season with the airport gearing up to welcome over half a million guests.

Pakistan's SereneAir is offering additional 10 kg baggage allowance on its flights operating from UAE to Pakistan. This special offer is valid till 30 Sept 2023 only. The airline has also announced fares starting from as low AED 350 on flights from UAE to Pakistan. The airline on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) announced that it would give 50 kg (40 kg plus 10 kg) for the passengers flying in the Economy Class, 30 kg (20 kg plus 10 kg) for the free baggage category and 10 kg on zero baggage tickets on UAE to Pakistan flights till September 30.

SereneAir also mentioned in a tweet it will operate a special flight on its A330-200 from Dubai to Islamabad on 30 August 2023. For this special flight, SereneAir is offering checked in baggage allowance of 60 kg for economy cabin and 80 kg for SerenePlus.

The Dubai International Airport is seeing is seeing one of the busiest days of this season as people return to the emirate from their summer vacations. Passenger traffic has rebounded with Dubai International Airport reporting that traffic for the first half of the year surpassing 2019 levels. The airport welcomed 41.6 million guests in the first half of this year.

India and Pakistan among Dubai International Airport's top destination country in terms of traffic for the first half of this year. India leads with 6 million guests in the first half, followed by Saudi Arabia with 3.1 million guests, and the United Kingdom with 2.8 million guests and Pakistan (2 million guests), according to Dubai Airport.
