Sheikh Sultan approves scholarships at American University of Sharjah and University of Sharjah

During Sharjah Radio's "Direct Line," it was announced that Sheikh Sultan had approved 1,500 scholarships at the American University of Sharjah and the University of Sharjah.

Sheikh Sultan has approved 1,500 scholarships at the American University of Sharjah and the University of Sharjah. The news was announced on Sharjah Radio's Direct Line program.

The program aired on Sharjah Television and radio, and it informed listeners that His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, had approved scholarships at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) and the University of Sharjah (UoS), for undergraduate students.

Sheikh Sultan has approved 1000 scholarships for undergraduates. Reports suggest that His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, will announce 500 more scholarships over the next two days at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) and the University of Sharjah (UoS).


Students with an average below 2 are eligible. It included 2,233 female and male students across all majors at AUS and UoS.

Sheikh Sultan chaired the AUS Board of Trustees meeting in June. The AUS President and Sharjah ruler were given briefs about their university and achievements. The board was praised for their efforts in accelerating the university's growth and developing multiple plans with the help of the faculty and university students.
