The airline urges travelers to arrive three hours before departure, complete immigration 1.5 hours ahead, and reach boarding gates at least one hour before takeoff. Passengers should also anticipate extra road traffic, crowded car parks, and lengthy queues.

In the advisory, Emirates provides several convenient pre-flight options:
Check In via Emirates App
Emirates has advised travellers to use its mobile app for a more convenient journey. The airline said the app allows users to check in, access digital boarding passes, get flight notifications, select meals, pre-plan entertainment, and book services like chauffeur drive, online and app check-in open 48 hours before departure.
Early Bag Drop at Airport
The airline stated that passengers flying from Dubai can drop off their bags 24 hours in advance, or 12 hours before departure for US flights. This service, offered at no charge, lets customers skip check-in queues and head straight to immigration on travel day.
City Check-In Option
Customers can check in and drop off bags at the Emirates City Check-In & Travel Store in Dubai International Financial Centre’s (DIFC) ICD Brookfield Place. Open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., it offers self-service kiosks, agent support, and “Sara,” the world’s first check-in robot.
Home Check-In Service
The airline said customers in Dubai and Sharjah can book a home check-in service where agents complete check-in and collect bags from a residence, hotel, or office. Emirates added that this is complimentary for First Class travellers and Platinum Skywards members.
Airport Transport Options
To ease movement within Terminal 3, Emirates noted that a free train runs between Concourses A and B, and a shuttle bus operates 24/7 between Concourses A and C. Buggy services are also available, with priority for families, the elderly, and People of Determination.
Follow Baggage Rules
