SDG elects two Indian as global partners

US-based management consulting firm Strategic Decisions Group (SDG) today said it has appointed two Indians-- Aashish Mehra and Girish Shirodkar-- as its global partners.

NEW DELHI: US-based management consulting firm Strategic Decisions Group ( SDG) today said it has appointed two Indians-- Aashish Mehra and Girish Shirodkar-- as its global partners.

In their new roles, Mehra and Shirodkar now assume greater responsibility of growing SDG's business across the Asia Pacific region, SDG said in a statement issued here.

Mehra, who was in Strategic Decisions Group's life sciences practice division, has been given a wider mandate across India and Asia Pacific region, it added.

Girish Shirodkar, who has led the firms's worldwide infrastructure practice, where he advised boards and top management on bidding strategies to win large infrastructure and energy projects.

"Both Aashish and Girish have contributed greatly to client development in their respective industries. We are pleased to recognise this milestone in their professional achievement and to welcome them to the partnership," Strategic Decisions Group Chairman and CEO Carl Spetzler said in a statement.

"As members of the India leadership team, both have been key contributors to SDG's growth and development in the region," he added.
