Starting from Muharram 1, 1447 AH (corresponding to June 27, 2025), the initiative offers a 30-day grace period during which eligible individuals can regularize their status and leave the Kingdom legally.

According to the directorate's statement, the extension applies to all types and names of expired visit visas.
To use the facility, applicants must pay the prescribed fees and penalties in accordance with existing regulations. The extension requests must be submitted via the Tawasul service available on the Ministry of Interior’s Absher electronic platform.
This comes after this month's earlier update, in which Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah reminded all pilgrims to leave the Kingdom before their Hajj visas expire.

The ministry said that leaving on time is not only a legal requirement but also a gesture of respect for the Kingdom’s rules and the sacred nature of the pilgrimage.
