Samsung chief says will consider group revamp: Report
The head of South Korea's biggest business group Samsung said on Friday he will consider structural and management changes to the group including his own position, a report said.
Group chairman Lee Kun-Hee, 66, made the offer after a five-hour interrogation by special prosecutors investigating an alleged bribery slush fund, Yonhap news agency said.
"It's all my responsibility. I will assume moral and legal responsibility," he was quoted as saying. "I will sincerely consider changes in the group's management structure, including me."
When asked whether he was willing to step down, Lee said "I will think about it," according to Yonhap.
