Russian co inks $110 mn deal with Reliance Gas
Russia's Stroytransgaz company has clinched a $110 million (nearly Rs 506 crore) deal with Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Ltd for construction of a gas pipeline in India.
MOSCOW: Russia's Stroytransgaz company has clinched a $110 million (nearly Rs 506 crore) deal with Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance Gas Transportation Infrastructure Ltd for construction of a gas pipeline in India.
Stroytransgaz will build two sections of East-West gas pipeline from Kakinada to Bharoch with total length of 1,386 km and the work is to commence in October, a company release said.
The pipeline project itself is estimated to cost around $4-5 billion.
The East-West pipeline would supply natural gas to Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Gujarat.
Earlier in May this year, Stroytransgaz had signed the deal for construction of two sections of Mundra-Delhi product pipeline with a total length of 544 km.
