Sharks swallows Sea Eagles in hotly contested NRL matchup
Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks’ WIlliam Kennedy made an impressive performance in the NRL matchup against Manly Warringah Sea Eagles. A game with injuries, long runs and incredible displays of defense, make things tough for Manly who face Dragons next...

William Kennedy, the fullback for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, scored a tremendous 20-metre individual try early in the second half, which left almost six Manly players awestruck.
The performance from Will Kennedy and Cherry Evans’ exit make things more complicated for Manly’s future.
Cherry Evans managed to score a try in the 78th minute, but Cronulla’s Kennedy outshone everyone else, making incredible defensive reads.
Other than a loss to Canberra Raiders on April 3, the Sharks increased their winning record with four wins. It took no longer than 35 minutes for Sam Stonestreet of Cronulla to score the first four pointer.
At halftime, Braydon Trindall made the score 8-0, leaving Manly trailing.
Sam Stonestreet, underwent a shoulder reconstruction surgery following a pre-season injury, but still managed to make two tries of 182 metres. Stonestreet, 22, has a long career ahead in the National Rugby League.
Manly’s Haumole Olakau’atu was injured after his right shoulder was hurt trying to tackle Will Kennedy, which led him to spend the last 25 minutes of the game.
Now, Manly faces a tough test against St. George Illawarra Dragons at 4 Pines Park on April 17.
