Laker’s Luka dismantles Rockets securing 50th win
Slovenian star Luka Doncic carried his team, the Los Angeles Lakers to victory against second seed Houston Rockets in a dominant fashion after the standout performance of the player in his earlier match against the Dallas Mavericks

With strong contributions from Austin Reeves, Rui Hachimura and LeBron James, with Reeves scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, Hachimura scoring 16 points in 32 minutes and James scoring 14 points with 8 assists and 4 rebounds.
Dorian Finney Smith also scored 18 points, all three-pointers in 30 minutes.
Jarred Vanderbilt scored 8 points, with 4 rebounds and 2 steals.
From the Rockets end, there was formidable competition from Cam Whitmore who scored 34 points in the lead but second highest points from Reed Shepherd scored under 20 with 14 points and Nate Williams scoring 12.
The Lakers scored 53/87 field goals with a 60.9 field goal percentage. The team scored 42 rebounds with 28 assists. Houston Rockets scored 41/90 field goals with a 45.6 field goal percentage with a total of 37 rebounds and 22 assists.
The Lakers who won their 50th match this season
In a dominant second quarter, The Lakers had already outclassed the Rockets by leading 16 points. The fourth quarter ended with a 33-22 edge which sealed the win for the Lakers.
Houston Rockets are second in the table with 52 wins and 29 losses, and Lakers are now only one rank below at third with 50 wins and 31 losses.
