3 Lotto winners from Auckland and Hamilton share $1 million this Easter weekend

Three lucky Lotto players from Auckland and Hamilton will be sharing $1 million after each winning $333,333 with Lotto First Division in the live Lotto draw on Saturday (April 19, 2025). The winning tickets were sold at Xpress Mart in Auckland, and on MyLotto to players from Auckland and Hamilton, offering an extra special Easter weekend.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday (April 23) night, where the jackpot will be $23 million, while Strike Four has also rolled over tonight and will be $1 million on Wednesday night.

The winning tickets were purchased from various locations. Xpress Mart in Auckland sold one of the winning tickets with the other two winning tickets beingsold on MyLotto to players from Auckland and Hamilton.


Lotto New Zealand is encouraging players to check their tickets. Tickets can be checked in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLottoApp.

Lotto NZ allocates all of its profits to Kiwi communities. These funds are distributed through lottery grants programmes. Te Puna Tahua NZ Lottery Grants Board manages these programmes.
