Malaysia Airlines to scale up operations in Bangalore

Malaysia Airlines will scale up its flight operations from Bangalore with a new additional flight every Thursday.

BANGALORE: Malaysia Airlines will scale up its flight operations from Bangalore with a new additional flight every Thursday.

The new additional flight, MH 193 will operate between Bangalore and Kuala Lumpur at 0050 hours and arrive in Malaysia at 0730 local time. While the return flight from Kuala Lumpur MH 192 will operate every Wednesday at 2210 hours arriving in Bangalore at 2330 hours, a release said.

The airline also announced an introductory airfare of Rs 19,091 (including taxes).

With this additional flight, the airlines, will now fly every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from Bangalore, it said.

The overall seat capacity of the airlines from Bangalore gateway will now be enhanced to a total 1397 seats.

Malaysia Airlines Regional Manager, South Asia, Christopher Yek, said "within just eight months, we have offered two additional flights and taking it upto five fligths per week from Bangalore, thus enhancing our operations from three gateways-Chennai, New Delhi and Bangalore".
