Lonmin Plc the world's third-biggest platinum producer, declined to reiterate its 2012 output target due to power problems in South Africa.

LONDON: Lonmin Plc the world's third-biggest platinum producer, declined to reiterate its 2012 output target due to power problems in South Africa. "The 1.2 million ounce target previously published was dependent on the function of power availability for all of our growth projects," Chief Executive Brad Mills told a conference call on Thursday. "Until we actually see what (utility) Eskom is committed to delivering we are not confirming that guidance."
