Kuwait allows dinar to rise against dollar

Kuwait allowed its dinar to appreciate 0.4% against the dollar in its second revaluation this year.

DUBAI: Kuwait allowed its dinar to appreciate 0.4% against the dollar in its second revaluation this year, as the dollar tumbled to a record low against the euro.

The dinar would trade at 0.28690 per dollar against the previous rate of 0.28806 set on May 20 when the world’s seventh-largest oil exporter abandoned its dollar peg and adopted a basket of currencies.
