Honda to recall cars in Japan to repair brakes
Honda Motor, Japan's second largest automaker, will recall 63,099 vehicles in the country for repairs.
The recall, which starts tomorrow, affects Civic small cars and Stream minivans built between August 2005 and January 2007, the Tokyo-based company said to the transport ministry.
About 34,300 of the recalled minivans also have faulty speedometers.
Honda estimates the repair will cost about 6.4 million dollar, it said. No accidents have been linked to the faults, the company said.
