BERLIN: The size of the joint EU-IMF bailout package for crisis-hit Greece could be as high as 120 billion euros (158 billion dollars) over three years, two top German parliamentarians said Wednesday.

The aid could be "between 100 and 120 billion euros," said Juergen Trittin, head of the opposition Green party parliamentary group, after meeting IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn and ECB President Jean-Claude Trichet.

Thomas Oppermann, a leading parliamentarian from the opposition Social Democrats who attended the same meeting, announced a figure of 120 billion euros. Strauss-Kahn refused to comment on specific figures when asked.
