Gold trade between Iran, Turkey to resume: Iran's Ambassador to Turkey Ali Reza
ANKARA: Gold trade between Turkey and Iran is likely to resume, albeit at lower levels compared to last year, once sanctions on Iran are eased in the wake of a deal between Tehran and six world powers to curb Tehran's nuclear programme, Iran's ambassador to Turkey said on Friday.

"Certainly the gold trade between Iran and Turkey will resume," Iran's Ambassador to Turkey Ali Reza Bigdeli told reporters in Ankara.

"Due to the problems in money transfers in 2012, the gold trade rose. I don't think that we are still in the same situation that would require us to trade in gold in those amounts," he said.
