The Donald Trump administration will fall in the next 30 days, according to Democratic strategist James Carville.

Speaking on The Dan Abrams Show, Carville stated, "It's collapsing right now. We're in the midst of a collapse."

Carville said, "I believe that this administration, in less than 30 days is in the midst of a massive collapse, in particularly a collapse in public opinion." He noted unprecedented low approval ratings and predicted Republican difficulties with debt ceiling negotiations, suggesting House Speaker Mike Johnson would need Democratic support.


He advised Democrats to maintain restraint, stating, "This whole thing is collapsing. It doesn't need Elizabeth Warren in somebody screaming to pacify some progressive advocacy groups in Washington."

Notably, surveys indicate declining support for President Trump, with public unease about developments since his return to office such as immigration restrictions, elimination of DEI programmes and reversing transgender protections. The administration's partnership with Elon Musk to reduce federal workforce has resulted in substantial job losses and potential closure of congressional establishments.

The Trump administration is also facing legal challenges nationwide regarding executive orders and federal downsizing. Democrats have expressed concerns about the unprecedented authority given to Musk, an unelected private citizen.

FiveThirtyEight data shows Trump's net approval at 1.5 percent on Friday, decreased from 8.2 percent on January 24. The impact of recent administrative actions on public opinion remains uncertain.

Meanwhile, reacting to Carville's statement, Trump on Truth Social said, "I won the Presidential Election in a landslide, won ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, THE POPULAR VOTE, AND ALL FIFTY STATES SHIFTED REPUBLICAN, a record, and now I have the best polling numbers I've ever had.
