In the spotlight stands Volodymyr Zelenskyy, garnering attention for his dignified demeanour during a contentious White House meeting with US President Donald Trump. The encounter resulted in an 'unprecedented disaster' as Trump and VP JD Vance engaged in a 'shouting match' whilst 'berating' Zelenskyy.

An American reporter, Brian Glenn, Chief White House Correspondent at Real America's Voice, questioned Zelenskyy's choice of attire - his signature black sweater. Zelenskyy responded with poise, stating, "I will wear a (suit) costume after this war finishes, yes. Maybe something like yours, yes, maybe something better. I don't know, we will see. Maybe something cheaper. Thank you."

The situation deteriorated when Trump and Vance collectively accused Zelenskyy of "disrespecting" the U.S. The meeting concluded abruptly, with Zelenskyy departing without securing a crucial minerals agreement intended for a US-brokered truce.

Social media reactions featured prominent figures like Bernie Sanders, Sawyer Hackett, and Brian Krassenstein criticising Trump and Vance's conduct. Many viewed the meeting as an "embarrassment for the United States" and criticised the American leaders' behaviour.

On X, journalist Roland Martin stated, "Donald Trump is a disgrace. JD Vance is a disgrace. The only person with class today is Zelensky. This was an abomination by these two aholes."

His political journey began when he announced his candidacy on December 31, 2018. Despite being a political newcomer, he secured victory with 73.23% votes, achieving the largest margin in Ukrainian presidential election history.

Regarding his finances, Forbes Middle East clarifies that despite claims of billion-dollar wealth, Zelenskyy's actual worth was approximately $20 million in 2022. His primary asset includes a 25% stake in Kvartal 95, temporarily transferred during his presidency.

His property portfolio, valued at $4 million, comprises several apartments, a commercial property, and parking spaces. Joint accounts with his wife Olena contained about $2 million in cash and bonds, with additional assets worth roughly $1 million.
