US Presidential Election 2024: Donald Trump’s donor list in 2020 vs. 2024; and who’s donated how much to Biden and Harris

In less than 24 hours, the United States will head to the polls to choose its next president. Amidst the high-stakes atmosphere, billionaire Elon Musk, a known Donald Trump supporter, tweeted a comparison of the top donor lists for the 2024 presidential contenders with those of the 2020 election between Joe Biden and Donald Trump.

According to these lists, in 2020, Donald Trump’s major donors included several government bodies such as the US Postal Service, US Defense Department, and the US Army, along with corporations like American Airlines and Wells Fargo. In contrast, Big Tech companies were among the largest contributors to Joe Biden’s campaign.

In the 2024 election, Democratic nominee Kamala Harris has similarly attracted substantial funding from tech giants, while Trump’s donations are primarily topped by American Airlines, Walmart, and Boeing.
