Old post of Tulsi Gabbard re-surfaces
Five years ago, Tulsi had called Trump "corrupt", “unqualified to serve,” and “Saudi Arabia’s b***h.” Gabbard had made the comments in the run-up to her unsuccessful 2020 bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, where she didn’t shy away from criticizing Trump’s performance.A disgruntled Gabbard claimed online that Trump was Trump was behaving as if Saudi Arabia was giving him direct orders. “Trump awaits instructions from his Saudi masters. Having our country act as Saudi Arabia’s bitch is not ‘America First,’” she tweeted. The US had 'reason to believe' it knew who was responsible for the attack, Trump said, adding that the Saudi government was 'waiting to hear from the Kingdom about who they believe was behind the attack' and how the US could assist."

Less than a year later, Gabbard voiced support for the 2019 impeachment inquiry into President Trump, which focused on his efforts to pressure Ukraine in exchange for crucial US aid. “Donald Trump is corrupt — he is unfit to serve our country as president,” she told The Hill. “He is unqualified to serve as commander-in-chief. I’m running for president to defeat him.”
During a 2019 campaign stop in New Hampshire, Gabbard strongly criticized Trump’s decision to deploy US troops to defend Saudi oil infrastructure. While Trump claimed Saudi Arabia had paid “$1 billion” for the deployment, he did not clarify the specifics of the arrangement.
After her 2020 presidential campaign failed to gain momentum, Gabbard withdrew from the race and endorsed Joe Biden. In a shift since then, she campaigned to be Trump’s running mate and is currently helping him prepare for the upcoming Sept. 10 presidential debate and later went on to endorse him for the post of US President.
