Another critical fix addresses a dangerous flaw in the device’s accessibility feature, VoiceOver, which could expose a user’s secret passcode by reading it aloud. VoiceOver is designed to help users by providing spoken descriptions of on-screen content, even when it’s not visible.
Additional patches target security gaps that could allow a malicious audio file to corrupt the device’s memory, a booby-trapped media file to unexpectedly close apps, and a malicious image to leak process memory to attackers.
Multiple cybersecurity experts have advised users to regularly update their devices or software and to download the newest patches as soon as these are available.
Apple fixes address bar spoofing flaw

Apple’s new iOS 18.6 security update is available for all iPhones launched in 2018 or later. That means the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, iPhone XR, and every newer model are eligible. This bug was identified by a member of Google's Threat Analysis Group, and Google wrote on July 15 that it is aware that an exploit for this bug exists in the wild. So you should download iOS 18.6 immediately to protect your device.
