'What a piece of...': Cincinnati restaurant Lucius Q cuts ties with owner, suffers big damage after controversial Charlie Kirk comment
A Cincinnati restaurant owner has received massive criticism for a social media comment about the killing of political conservative activist Charlie Kirk. TQL Stadium has ended its contract with the restaurant after the post sparked outrage online...

Charlie Kirk, the conservative activist, was shot and killed at a campus event in Utah on September 10. Authorities were still searching for the shooter September 11. Lucius Q and other companies associated with the restaurant have distance themselves from Aaron Sharpe, a co-owner, after his online comments that said in part “good riddance” to Kirk’s death.
The Facebook user David J. Harris Jr. uploaded screenshots of Aaron Sharpe's remarks. A Cincinnati resident shared a screenshot of a Facebook post that said "Praying for Charlie Kirk." A comment from Sharpe, the co-owner of barbecue restaurant Lucius Q, said "Good riddance. What a piece of s---."

Lucius Q suffers heavy damage
Lucius Q announced on its Facebook page at 8 p.m. September 11 that Sharpe is no longer associated with the restaurant. "We found the comments he made on his personal social media pages offensive and, as a result, have severed ties with him," the statement said.“FC Cincinnati and TQL Stadium expect our vendors and partners to uphold the values of respect and tolerance,” the post said in part. It went on to say “We have terminated our relationship with Lucius Q.”
Lucius Q, a vendor at TQL Stadium—the home of FC Cincinnati—will no longer be associated with the venue, stadium officials announced Thursday. Social media was quick enough to criticise Aaron Sharpe's comments. As per reports, more than 4,000 people criticized him on the restaurant's X account.
Sharpe's Facebook page has since been made private. Lucius Q's Google reviews page was flooded with recent one-star reviews and the restaurant's voicemail box was full by the afternoon on September 11. After dozens of critical comments, comments on the restaurant's Facebook page were limited.

Charlie Kirk shot dead
Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot and killed while speaking during an event at Utah Valley University. Kirk was known nationally for his work with Turning Point USA, a group he founded that frequently held public events on college campuses.In the footage, a person matching the suspect’s description was seen walking down a street before the shooting. An Utah Valley student told CNN they saw a man walking on or near the roof of the Losee Center twice in two weeks. The student called the man’s behavior “weird” and said a professor who was also there called out to ask if the man was okay.
