Tyler Robinson’s online searches exposed; Charlie Kirk shooter played bizarre ‘Furry Shades of Gay’ game

The 22-year-old man charged with killing right-wing political conservative Charlie Kirk used a pseudo name on Steam, where he played a pornographic online game called 'Furry Shades of Gay', Daily Mail reported. Not only he played pornographic online game, he also followed artists who drew explicit cartoons associated with pedophilia.

The chilling details about Tyler Robinson surfaced days after he was arrested shooting conservative activist Charlie Kirk dead at the Utah Valley University campus earlier this month. He was arraigned on seven charges on Tuesday including murder and witness tampering.

Tyler Robinson's online accounts show the alleged assassin had an interest in gay porn involving humanoid animal characters called 'furries'. A Steam account believed to belong to Tyler Robinson reveals he downloaded and played a dating simulator titled “Furry Shades of Gay.”


The game bills itself as a mix of “love, queer relationships, hot gay sex, and slapstick humor.” According to a December 2020 Steam listing, players are promised “24 hot, animated, fully voiced s*x scenes.”

Robinson reportedly spent enough time in the game to unlock a reward—an “uncommon sticker” featuring one of its cat-human characters dressed in a French maid outfit, which remains visible on his Steam profile. He reportedly used the account name 'craftin247’ on his gaming and online accounts, his friends told the outlet.

Last week, Craftin247's account on FurAffinity said he had 'recently watched' content created by a user called RedRusker – an artist known for gay furry porn.Robinson also appeared to be friends with another porn artist making 'deviant' cartoons of absurdly fat women being fed. The Steam account linked to Robinson lists the user 'Obure' among its friends.

Robinson left a comment on Obure's Steam profile in January 2024, writing 'he beats me when mom goes on her work trips', with punctuation resembling a crying emoji.

In addition to the aggravated murder charge, Tyler Robinson was charged with felony discharge of a gun causing injury, two counts of obstruction of justice, two counts of witness tampering and committing a violent offense in the presence of a child. He faces 25 years to life in prison for these charges if he avoids the death penalty.

Prosecutors said that Robinson chatted with his roommate after shooting Charlie Kirk. On the day of the incident, he wrote: “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”

In later text exchanges, Robinson wrote: “I am, I’m sorry” when asked if he was the gunman, according to the court documents. Robinson allegedly described hiding the rifle and discarding the clothing, and that he urged the roommate to delete the messages and remain silent if questioned by police.
