The Seattle-based coffee giant launched its 2025 fall menu today, maintaining its tradition of releasing autumn-themed treats late in the summer. The Pumpkin Spice Latte and the entire pumpkin lineup celebrate “the unofficial start of fall,” according to the company announcement.
Soon, you can enjoy the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai, and Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte at Starbucks. Starbucks also continues its focus on craft coffee with the Pecan Cortado, an espresso drink blended with equal parts milk and a nut-forward syrup.

Pumpkin spice latte makes a comeback
The seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte has returned to Starbucks menus in the US and Canada. The Pumpkin Spice Latte is Starbucks’ most popular seasonal beverage, with hundreds of millions sold since the espresso drink’s 2003 launch.It’s also produced a host of imitations. Dunkin’ introduced pumpkin-flavored drinks in 2007; it beat Starbucks to market this year when its fall menu debuted last week. According to Axios, Starbucks said last year 10% of sales come from returning favorites. Starbucks said Monday that the PSL is its "most popular seasonal beverage of all time."
A Starbucks spokesperson told Axios the price of Starbucks limited-time-only seasonal beverages haven't increased from last year. Prices differ depending on location, with a grande Pumpkin Spice Latte costing between $5.75 and $7.25 at company-owned U.S. stores. Meanwhile, a grande Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is priced between $5.25 and $5.95.

A new "Pumpkin Premium" survey by Empower, which polled 2,200 Americans, revealed that 44% believe inflation and tariffs are driving up the cost of pumpkin-flavored products.
Still, pumpkin spice fever runs strong — one in three shoppers say they’re willing to pay extra for pumpkin-spice treats. On average, Americans spend $32 a month on pumpkin-flavored items during fall, with millennials splurging nearly double at $64.
Starbucks said its pumpkin drinks use real pumpkin, sourced from Washington state farmer Jeff Leber, who has supplied the kabocha pumpkins used in PSLs and Pumpkin Cream Cold Brews since 2018.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai and the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte are back Tuesday along with the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin and Raccoon Cake Pop. Apple drinks are not on this year's fall menu, the coffee giant told Axios.Dutch Bros, Peet's, Dunkin' and First Watch released fall menus ahead of Starbucks. McDonald’s will roll out its seasonal favorites — the McCafé Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Pumpkin & Crème Pie — beginning Aug. 29 at select locations nationwide, the company announced. The fall season officially kicks off with the equinox on September 22.
