Port Authority Bus Terminal has been closed for the morning commute into New York City due to a crash at the entrance ramp, authorities said. The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. on the inbound ramp at West 40th Street and Ninth Avenue in Manhattan. All the fourteen people are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Twelve people were treated for minor injuries, while one person was taken to a hospital for further evaluation, reported The New York Post.
In a post on X, NJ Transit said: "New York Port Authority is closed due a multi bus accident. NJ TRANSIT bus service traveling to and from the New York Port Authority Bus Terminal is being diverted to Secaucus Junction, Newark Penn Station and Hoboken Terminal."

The FDNY is expected to hold a briefing and share more details from the scene. The New Jersey Transit Corporation, which uses the bus terminal, said Port Authority was closed "due to a multi bus accident" and that services were being diverted to other facilities in New Jersey, reports USA Today.
The Port Authority Bus Terminal website said the high trafficked Lincoln Tunnel connecting New York and New Jersey has "a delay of 30 minutes due to a crash at the entrance of the bus terminal."
