Following Charlie Kirk’s death on Wednesday in Utah, Emmanuel Acho shared several videos addressing the incident. “Charlie Kirk openly stated that gun deaths are a price we must accept to preserve Second Amendment rights—and that it’s worth it. That has torn me apart… At times, it feels like mourning his death by gun contradicts everything he stood for, everything he said, everything he believed.”
Acho, a former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker, also accused Kirk of promoting racist attitudes. “He referred to both Michelle Obama and Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson—both Harvard graduates—as lacking the intellectual capacity to be taken seriously. He even suggested that a Black pilot would automatically be assumed to be a DEI hire.”

In another video, Acho urged people to avoid polarizing views of Kirk as either a hero or a villain. “Charlie Kirk’s death has shaken me deeply over the past 36 hours… Some are trying to memorialize him, but I do not believe he was a hero. We need to humanize him, not idolize or demonize him.”
