'It's coming right for us': Never-before-seen video shows US Hellfire missile bouncing off UFO shocks Congress
A video shown during a House committee hearing on “unidentified anomalous phenomena” purported to show a missile being fired at an object, which a congressman called an “orb,” off the coast of Yemen in 2024. Rep. Eric Burlison said the 2024 video ...

The video, shown to Congress for the first time on Tuesday, September 9, was shared by an anonymous whistleblower with Rep. Eric Burlison of Missouri. He revealed it during a House Oversight subcommittee hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs), the military’s term for UFOs. The video has raised urgent questions about technology beyond known military capabilities.
The footage captured an MQ-9 drone tracking a UAP orb while another MQ-9 fired a Hellfire missile at it. The missile hit the orb, but rather than destroying it, the projectile seemed to "ricochet off" its surface. In the air, the sightings of these phenomena are commonly referred to as UFOs, or unidentified flying objects.

Hellfire missile bounces off mysterious orb
While being questioned, UAP journalist George Knapp said, "That's a hellfire missile smacking into that UFO, and bouncing right off - and it kept going," reported BBC. The head of the Task Force hosting the hearing said its purpose was to deliver government transparency to the American public."That’s a Hellfire missile smacking into that UFO and [it] just bounced right off, and it kept going," journalist George Knapp said. "There are servers where there’s a whole bank of these kind of videos that Congress has not been allowed to see."
Lawmakers and witnesses emphasised that no known U.S. technology could withstand a Hellfire strike. During the hearing, military whistleblowers testified under oath that they had seen UFOs and accused the government of a cover-up. "It's coming right for us!" witness recalled his friends screaming during 2003 UFO sighting.

Former Air Force military police officer Nuccetelli said the video provided “exceptional evidence” of UFOs.
"Are you aware of anything in the US arsenal that can split a Hellfire missile like this…and do whatever blob thing it did, and then keep going?" Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., asked each witness. Nuccetelli and Wiggins testified that no US technology is capable of surviving such a strike.

Hellfire video and UAP encounters
Beyond the Hellfire video, witnesses also shared their own UAP encounters. Nuccetelli recounted the “Vandenberg Red Square,” an event from 2003 that took place at what is today known as Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. At the time, the site was still operated by the Air Force.ALSO READ: Singer D4vd in trouble? Decomposed body found dumped in his abandoned Tesla at Los Angeles tow yard
Wiggins also spoke about a “Tic Tac” encounter, observing that the craft displayed no “conventional propulsion signatures” as it accelerated away. Though the origins remain unknown, lawmakers pressed for answers, demanding greater transparency on UAPs.
According to Nasa, the US space agency has "not found any credible evidence of extraterrestrial life and there is no evidence that UAPs are extraterrestrial, external" The hearing is set to tackle national security risks and potential transparency concerns related to UAP reports.
