Coldplay issues warning after kiss cam scandal
Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin shared a warning with fans following the viral fallout over the viral kiss cam moment involving Andy Bryon. The jumbotron mishap became a viral spectacle at a Coldplay concert outside of Boston last week, when it landed on two concert goers panicked reaction.Speaking to fans during the first concert since, Martin said, "We'd like to say hello to some of you in the crowd," which was met with raucous laughter.
"How we're gonna do that is we're gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen. So please, if you haven't done your makeup, do your makeup now."
Martin joked with the crowd during the original incident too. When the cameras caught the embarrassed pair—in a moment which has since been viewed more than 119 million times on TikTok—Martin said, "Either they're having an affair or they're just very shy."

A clip of Martin's warning to fans was shared to X by an account which posts regular updates about Coldplay. It has been viewed more than 80,000 times since Sunday morning.
Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot have become the subject of intense scrutiny, and a flurry of jokes and memes due to their alleged infidelity. The two appeared to have been caught canoodling in what has quickly became a viral spectacle. Byron has since tendered his resignation.
An Astronomer spokesperson told Newsweek in a statement on Saturday: "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met."
Astronomer's board of directors have announced the start of a formal search for a new chief executive, and company co-founder Pete DeJoy will serve as interim CEO.
