The attack is being investigated as an act of politically motivated violence and is not considered a "one-off" incident, according to Kash Patel, who referenced a similar attack on a separate ICE facility two months prior.
"While the investigation is ongoing, an initial review of the evidence shows an idealogical motive behind this attack... These despicable, politically motivated attacks against law enforcement are not a one-off," Kash Patel said in a post on X.
"We are only miles from Prairieland, Texas, where just two months ago an individual ambushed a separate ICE facility targeting their officers," Patel said.
