Dance club, drinks with Netanyahu, men in bikinis: Trump's insane video imagines 'Gaza future'

US President Donald Trump on Wednesday shared an AI- generated video of Gaza, the most bizarre clip of all times. The video reimagines Gaza as a glitzy, futuristic paradise similar to a resort style destination.

The US President shared the video on his social media that shows a fictional land called "Trump Gaza", a complete with a golden statue of him, money raining from the skies and bearded belly dancers. The video features everything- from Elon dining to bearded men in bikinis- and has been widely criticized.

Trump shares bizarre video of Gaza

The video which the US President has shared on his Truth Social platform reimagines the strip as a beachfront city with Tesla-filled streets named ‘Trump Gaza’. The video begins with a view of ruins in Gaza, with the inscription “Gaza 2025" appearing in green, followed by “What’s next?" in red, white, and blue.


The video then features scenes of skyscrapers and children looking up to the sky as dollar bills rain down. The footage begins with scenes of individuals resembling Hamas men amidst war-torn ruins, abruptly transitioning to images of kids frolicking on pristine, Dubai-like beaches. As the video progresses, one can see a futuristic Gaza skyline, showcasing luxurious and fancy hotels and bustling urban landscapes. It also shows Trump dancing in a nightclub alongside a woman and the US President and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu relaxing by a beach.

The video further features a golden statue of Trump in the streets and AI-generated tech billionaire Elon Musk eating food and throwing cash in the air. A child is seen carrying a golden balloon of Donald Trump’s face before an AI version of the president is seen dancing with a woman. The video ends with Trump and Netanyahu on a deck chair in bathing suits sipping beverages near a swimming pool with “Trump Gaza" in the fictional city.

Accompanying these visuals is a song with the lyrics: "Donald's coming to set you free. Bringing the light for all to see. No more tunnels. No more fear. Trump Gaza is finally here. Trump, Gaza shining bright, golden future, a brand new life. Taste and dance, the deal is done. Trump, Gaza number one."

What is Trump's plan to takeover Gaza?

The US President earlier this month said the United States will “take over" the Gaza Strip and permanently re-settle Palestinians to make the territory “the Riviera of the Middle East", after a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington.

“The US will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a job with it too. We’ll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site," Trump had said, without offering details about how he would manage the Gaza takeover or manage the war-torn territory.

Later, White House clarified that Trump has not committed to deploying the military in the Gaza Strip under his plans to “take over" and “own" the war-torn Palestinian region. Trump has also questioned Israel's 2005 decision to withdraw from Gaza, describing it as "one of the bad real estate deals."

Netanyahu has expressed support for Trump's proposal, lauding it as "revolutionary and creative." In a joint press conference at the White House, Netanyahu referred to Trump as "the greatest friend Israel has ever had."

However, the plan has been met with staunch opposition from Palestinian authorities and neighboring Arab states. The Palestinian Authority's foreign ministry declared, "The rights of our people and our land are not for sale, exchange, or bargaining." Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh dismissed Trump's remarks as "absurd," emphasizing that Gaza is "an integral part of our occupied Palestinian land."

In Gaza, over 48,000 people have died according to their health ministry, most of whom are women and children. Israel too lost over 1,200 people during the attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023 which triggered the war.
