D4vd and Celeste Rivas were in a relationship? Viral images surface after girl's decomposed body found in his Tesla

In a shocking twist, the body found in a towed Tesla that was registered to the New York born singer D4vd has been identified as a 15-year-old girl, officials told ABC News. The girl, Celeste Rivas, was identified through forensics, however, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet determined a cause of death.

"At this time, the LAPD does not have a crime classification from the coroner as to the mode or manner of death. Thus, we do not have any suspect information at this time,” the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Tuesday that it has confirmed with "the Los Angeles Police Department that Celeste Rivas Hernandez has been identified as the juvenile who was reported missing from Lake Elsinore."

Were Celeste Rivas and D4vd were in a relationship?

Photos of singer D4vd with the same teenage girl have surfaced online after her body was found in his Tesla, sparking speculation about a possible relationship. The images come after Rivas’s decomposed body was found last week in a Tesla at a Los Angeles impound lot, which belonged to the singer.


She was found wearing a tube top with black leggings and a yellow bracelet with similar metal stud earrings. She also had a tattoo on her right index finger that read “Shhh…”. According to Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the girl was missing since April 2024.

Rivas’ mutilated body was found last week in the trunk of a Tesla sedan sitting in an impound lot in Hollywood Hills, a car registered to the 20-year-old singer, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke. However, her mother claimed she had a boyfriend named David, according to TMZ, matching the singer’s real name, and highlighted that both had a similar “Shhh” tattoo on their right index fingers. Authorities said that the tattoo is common and has been popularized by other celebrities.

Singer D4VD in trouble

Her body was wrapped in plastic and locked in the Tesla’s trunk, where her corpse baked in the California heat for at least five days. The body was so badly decomposed that it wasn’t fully intact and was first reported to authorities because the car itself started to emit a “foul odor.”

D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, released a track in December 2023 about a girl named Celeste, adding to public interest.

D4vd found himself at the center of the gruesome discovery after authorities linked the impounded, Texas-plated Tesla back to him. Burke has been cooperating with police as he continues his world tour. When the body was first found in the car, Burke was preparing for a performance in Minneapolis and had been sharing consistent posts with his 2 million followers on Instagram. His most popular song, “Romantic Homicide,” has millions of streams on Spotify.

The singer suffered a big setback after he was dropped by Crocs and Hollister mere days after they both announced him as the face of their “Dream Drop” collaboration.

The singer was scheduled to perform at Showbox SoDo in Seattle but abruptly cancelled his concert following the discovery of the teen’s body. Police have not disclosed who was driving the Tesla when it was abandoned, and the vehicle was not reported stolen. D4vd has reportedly not been in Los Angeles for over a month and has not publicly commented on the case.
