Residents and tourists have evacuated and no injuries have been reported. We will continue to share updates and information.”

But within no time, Kristi Noem was criticized for her appearance and poor makeup application, reports The Irish Star. The message was quickly derailed by critics, who pounced on her use of “Earth Quake,” two words, both capitalized. “*earthquake. One word. No capital letters,” one user corrected.

Another added, “Earthquake is one word and does not need to be capitalized.”
