US President Donald Trump vowed Tuesday to quickly resolve what he called "the crime problem" in Chicago, branding it the "most dangerous city in the world" and hinting at sending troops into the Midwestern metropolis.
"I will solve the crime problem fast, just like I did in DC," Trump said, referring to his deployment of National Guard reservists to the streets of the US capital beginning last month. "Chicago will be safe again, and soon."
