Is Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei alive? Trump shares an update

US President Donald Trump, speaking onboard Air Force One, said that Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei “may be alive, but seriously wounded,” reflecting the ongoing uncertainty over his condition amid escalating tensions in the region.

Trump also pointed to strategic movements in the Strait of Hormuz, noting, “We were expecting eight vessels two days ago, then they added two more, making it ten. And today as a sign of respect, they have sent 20 oil tankers. Large tankers carrying oil are passing through the Strait of Hormuz. This process will begin tomorrow morning and continue for the next couple of days.”
