Since the Dutch producer and comedian Eline Van der Velden launched the digital character’s prospective career, Tilly Norwood has created a huge row with Screen Actors Guild said that “creativity is, and should remain, human-centered.”
“To be clear, ‘Tilly Norwood’ is not an actor, it’s a character generated by a computer program that was trained on the work of countless professional performers — without permission or compensation,” the guild said. “It has no life experience to draw from, no emotion and, from what we’ve seen, audiences aren’t interested in watching computer-generated content untethered from the human experience.”

Xicoia wants to create talent for podcasts, TikTok, YouTube, brand campaigns, video games, and interactions with fans.
The Secret Weapon
The company is reportedly using a proprietary avatar personality engine DeepFame, which was developed by Particle6. It wants to create 40 characthers ike Tilly Norwood with distinct backstories, voices, and personalities. Reportedly these AI avatars can perform monologues, adapt to social media trends, and even interact with fans in real time. The company is also reportedly collaborating with Hollywood stars interested in appearing as younger versions of themselves, as well as projects involving the digital resurrection of legendary performers.
