The idea of giving Americans a rebate from revenues generated by President Donald Trump's tariff policy has been discussed but not decided, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said on Monday.

"I think it's an idea that the president has discussed and floated with his advisers, but no decision has been firmly made at this point in time," Leavitt told reporters at the White House when asked about a potential $2,000 rebate.
