Park Min Jae, who gained widespread attention with his role in the television series Idol: The Coup (2021), died due to a cardiac arrest. Reports revealed that the actor died on November 29 while in China.

“Park Min Jae, a talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best, has passed away. We deeply appreciate the love and support he received. Although we can no longer watch his performances, we will proudly remember him as a valued actor of Big Title. May he rest in peace,” Big Title said in an official statement, Soompi, an English online media covering Korean pop culture, reported.
Park Min Jae passes away due to cardiac arrest
Following news of his demise, his talent agency confirmed the reports and said in a statement posted online, "Park Min Jae, a talented actor who loved acting and always gave his best, has departed for heaven." "We are deeply grateful for all the love and support you've shown Park Min Jae. Although we can no longer see him perform, we will proudly remember him as an actor of Big Title. A wake will be held at Room 9 of the Seoul National University Hospital Funeral Hall. The funeral is scheduled for December 4 at 9:30 am. The burial site has yet to be announced.
